Today took us to the Lower Benyons stretch of the Kennet, one of the river venues -
with all the usual species. Barbel and Chub to specimen size were the quarry, but sadly did not make a show.. Although we did catch Bleak, Dace and Gudgeon

Start of the New Season - Burghfield Canal/Calcot Stretch of Kennet -
Perch, Gudgeon caught, Di caught 3lb 5 oz Bream on single red maggot

Nothing caught, only 1 fish seen on the bank.

Tiddler bashing @ Buckshole Res, Hastings caught Rudd, Roach and Skimmer Bream. Bait Used was maggots, using float tactics


 

Session at Cottage Lane Lake 2
Going for the early spring carp, some were seen on the top but nothing was caught
 

Salmon Cut produced 3 decent sized Perch, 2 off 3lb 4oz and 1 off 2lb.
